Dr Rajaie Batniji
Project Associate, Global Health Governance
Dr. Rajaie Batniji is research associate at the Global Economic Governance Programme, a D.Phil candidate in International Relations at the University of Oxford – studying as a Marshall Scholar, and Junior Dean of University College. His doctoral research explains the conditions and drivers for international cooperation on health. He has has studied global health financing, and is interested in the priority-setting process of global health institutions.
He received his M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine and M.A. and B.A. (with distinction) degrees in History from Stanford University. He has previously worked as a consultant to the World Health Organization.
