Gabriëlle Krapels

Research Officer

Gabriëlle Krapels holds an M.Phil in European Politics from the University of Oxford (2007) and has recently submitted her D.Phil thesis in European Politics to the University of Oxford.  Gabriëlle’s doctoral research focuses on the liberalisation of the services market in Europe, with a particular focus on postal, electricity and healthcare services as well as the services covered by the Services Directive.

She completed a BA (cum laude) at the University College Utrecht in the Netherlands and spent half a year at the University of California Berkeley. Before commencing the D.Phil programme in 2008, she spent a year in Brussels where she worked for the European Commission (DG MARKT) as well as for the European Parliament (Cabinet of MEP Mrs. Oomen-Ruijten). Gabrielle worked for GEG as Research Officer from 2009-2010.
