Dr Jiyong Jin
Oxford-Princeton Global Leaders Fellow
Jiyong Jin joined the GEG Team as an Oxford-Princeton Global Leaders Fellow in September 2011. He has previously worked as a research fellow at Zhejiang University, China where he conducted two national projects supported by China’s Ministry of Education and China’s Post-doc Foundation. In June 2009 he obtained his PhD in International Relations from Fudan University, China. He has also studied as a Fox Fellow at Yale University from 2008 to 2009. His research areas cover health diplomacy, global health governance, and U.S. health policy. Currently, he is conducting research on China’s capacity building in implementing the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) and its implications for global health governance.
